A Different Approach to Smart Home Design
Smart Home Hamptons was built around a simple idea: technology should support the way you live, not complicate it.
Every home is different, some are designed for quiet weekends, others for entertaining, and many for both. The goal is never to add more, it’s to make everything work together in a way that feels natural, reliable, and easy to use.
Where It Started
Long before smart homes became common, Art Dirla was focused on something most systems still miss today: how a space feels.
As a musician and former bar owner on Long Island, he understood that great environments aren’t built on volume or size, they’re built on balance. The right sound, the right lighting, and the way everything comes together can completely change how people experience a space.
That mindset carried into designing audio and video systems for local venues, then into working with one of the top integration firms in Suffolk County. Over time, it became clear that homeowners wanted something different, systems that were simpler, more thoughtful, and designed around real life.
That’s what Smart Home Hamptons is built on today.
